English Royalty

I did not expect to see English royalty during my time in England, but was surprised to see a royal car carrying Elizabeth II and Prince Philip during the parade for the state visit. When I had got to Buckingham palace with my Dad, we thought that it would be the changing of the guard, but then a whole crowd of people began to show up, and one of the officers on duty told us that it would be a much better parade than a normal changing of the guard, and they were absolutely correct. One of the few good shots I got of them. I had some friends back in the states who sort of joked with us about seeing royalty while we were over there. And then I was really surprised that we actually did.
