I found out today that the Planes of Fame Air Museum decided to cancel their 2020 Airshow due to the pandemic. At least the sliver of good news that comes out of it is that they are letting the tickets still work for the VintageFest in September. So I will try that if I have the time free that month. And at least get in an airshow this year. *fingers crossed.*

In other notes I've been putting a lot of effort and energy into this music creation endeavor of mine and I find it to be fun and relaxing. If you wish to hear any of it you can find it at spotify or things like it under the artist name, Intermission Nexus.

I guess I'll work on getting some shots up from last years show. I still have some that I found I haven't posted yet.

Hello All,

In case you are interested, I thought I'd share with you my most recent release as artist Intermission Nexus. It is electronic synthwave retro instrumental album. My second that I've made, the first being "Metropolis."

This one is different though in that I am working on getting it made on CD through CD Baby. If all goes well with production it should be available later this month or early next month. If you wish to follow my Bandcamp there is a link below and I will post to it once the CDs are available.

The 2019 Chino Planes of Fame Airshow went amazingly. Despite the overcast conditions in the morning, it eventually opened up to bright skies later on. The only difference this year was a noticeable haze which was either from the heat or the smog. I did come home with close to 2,500 photos. Even if a fifth of them are good you can expect a lot of photos coming from me in the next months.

I think for next year I might try a different position on the runway since I usually park myself around show center. I noticed this year I kept missing them as they banked around for a pass. I figure if I position myself further right I might be able to get more banking shots. Or at least it will be a different angle. Have to keep that in mind a year from now.

Another year, another airshow. I am looking forward to the Planes of Fame 2019 airshow this Saturday. This is the lineup that they have posed for the schedule. They have posted that the airshow will be dedicated to the memory of David Vopat. Planes of Fame Air Museum Pilot.

They had a teaser video posted on their facebook page, where I saw the B-25J "Photo Fanny" in olive drab, and the Pilatus P-2 in Luftwaffe colors. Those will be neat to see in their new livery this weekend. There probably will be some surprises in store as it is the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Looking forward to what the weekend holds. Enjoy the lineup and I'll begin to get photos up probably next week. It looks like we should have good weather and it should be sunny, unlike the overcast in years past. I like both conditions for different reasons.

Kevin

The airshow world has lost a one of a kind aircraft this weekend. The Northrop N9MB which was a 1/3 scale test model for the XB-35 flying wing bombers and the grandfather of the B-2 Stealth bomber, has reportedly crashed in Norco, California. My prayers go out to the family and the warbird community. I had been fortunate to see it fly the past two years at the Planes of Fame airshow, although even that was a rare occurrence, I've been attending it for four.
